Your Overworked Liver

The most overworked organ in your body is the liver because it has to detoxify, or rid your body of the endotoxins and exotoxins. Endotoxins are a byproduct of cellular metabolism. They are waste products from your cells, and they must be detoxified, or else they will cause cell damage and death of all the cells in your body, every organ, gland and tissue in your body. Exotoxins are a byproduct of the polluted world we live in. The air, water and food have so many chemicals added to them that they become toxic to the body.
