BioCranial Therapy

Dr. Nemec has finished his post doctoral study in BioCranial Therapy.  He has become one of only 400 doctors that are certified to do BioCranial Therapy in the world.  What is BioCranial Therapy and is it for me?  BioCranial therapy is a very unique and specific therapy that induces motion in all the cranial bones so that the following can occur:

1.    Increases cerebral spinal fluid flow which is the nutrition to the brain and the spinal cord and the entire nervous system.
2.    Decreases tension in the dura which is the covering of the entire brain spinal cord, and nervous system.  Which frees up energy flow to all the organs, glands, and systems.
3.    Increases nerve flow into the cranial nerves.  The cranial nerves are the nerves that go to all the organs, the glands, especially the heart, lungs and digestive tract, the eyes, ears, nose and throat.  You see cranial nerve imbalance when there are symptoms of hearing, vision, smell and taste along with digestion, heart and lungs and respiration.
4.    Autonomic nerves in balance.  When the cranial bones are unlocked, there is a balance of the autonomic nervous system.  The visceromotor is the branch of the autonomic nervous system that goes to the organs and glands.  And the vasomotor is the branch of the blood vessels that goes to the organs and glands.  So you balance the nerve and the blood flow to each organ and gland when you unlock the cranium and take the pressure off the dura.
5.    By unlocking the durra you unlock the pituitary gland which is centered in the movement of the bones of the skull.  When the pituitary is affected the entire hormonal system can go back into balance. This affects all hormonal conditions from thyroid to male and female reproductive, to adrenals, to immune function.  The entire body is run first by the nervous system then by the hormonal system.
6.    Balance of the mind and emotions by the dural pressure release on the limbic area of the brain which is the seat of emotions.
All these powerful benefits come when one unlocks the cranium and get the normal motion in the cranial bones.  The skull is not one segment, its multiple segments that move a micro amount of movement and that micro amount of movement pumps the cerebral spinal fluid and that fluid keeps energy and life going to every part of the nervous system.  Also, when the movement is there in the cranial bones, it takes pressure off the covering or dura which is like saran wrap that tightly covers the brain and spinal cord and spinal nerves.  When the motion is restored, the pressure is reduced, so that in essence your brain, spinal cord and all the spinal nerves that go to all the organs and glands can breathe again.  Now this dura extends out along the individual nerves and if there is pressure on the dura around the individual nerves it can cause pain, numbness, weakness, tingling and burning. The dura then extends all the way and transitions into the fascia of the muscle.  So you can have any neurological or muscular complaint, pain or symptom.  80% of the entire nervous systems is above the spine and is located in the skull or ranium, and this is where BioCranial Therapy can correct the source of neurological blockages or imbalances.

How do I know if I would benefit from BioCranial  Therapy?  The answer to that question is if ones cranium has lost its normal motion between individual cranial bones because of some type of trauma to the head in the past. This can be seen by one eye larger than the other or appearing lower than the other, one ear lower than the other, it can be one nostril larger than the other, one side of the face more creased, one shoulder lower than the other.  When you look at a face it will look asymmetric comparing right side to left side.  This is a sign of cranial bone imbalance.  Any trauma to the head including birth trauma, which would include forceps, suctions, even C-Sections, because the cranium needs pressure to open up or in essence pop open and get in the initial motion in the cranium. This occurs passing through the birth canal.  So any abnormal delivery can cause cranial imbalance, also any trauma to the head.  Any fall, any trauma whatsoever.  And lastly, which is a large contributor to cranial bone imbalance, is any dental work.  Orthodontics, TMJ, malocclusion, or any dental work at all can cause cranial imbalance. A study was done on 203 grade school children for proper cranial motion.  There was a statistically significant correlation between poor motion and children having learning disabilities and behavioral problems.
