Symptoms of food allergy/sensitivity
Food sensitivity is such a contributing factor in nearly all diseases and causes of ill health that the symptoms are numerous. They range from affecting every system, organ and gland of the body. Some of them are as follows:
Chronic tiredness, sluggishness, fatigue, inability to get up and get going in the morning even after having sufficient sleep. Also a fatigue in the mid to late afternoon. Mental dullness, tenseness, nervousness, restlessness, jitteriness, irritability, depression and anxiety. In children learning disabilities like attention deficit disorder (ADD) and hyperactivity can be traced to food allergies. Authorities feel that 95% of all migraine headaches are do to multiple food sensitivities. Headaches are a common manifestation of food allergy/ sensitivity. Neuromusculoskeletal complaints are common in food sensitivity most commonly back pain, joint pain, and arthritic pain. Skin disorders from eczema, various rashes even acne can be related to food sensitivity. Respiratory complaints are very common, with asthma, upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis and sinus problems being most prevalent. Gastrointestinal symptoms are believed by some to be the most common manifestation of food allergy.
