CIRCULATIVE HEALTH

Circulation is movement of blood and lymph throughout the body. The primary organs of circulation are the heart, arteries, veins and lymph channels. With every heartbeat, blood is propelled with tremendous force to move fluid through thousands of miles of blood vessels and lymph vessels. It is truly amazing to know how awesome God created our bodies.
Blood’s purpose is to carry essential nutrients, food, vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and antioxidants to every one of the billions of cells that make up our body, and to get cellular waste products, toxins, chemicals and poisons out of our body.
Think of your blood vessels and lymph channels like highways, railroads and waterways. On our highways, trucks transport food, which includes the nutrients we need to live. Trucks take the food from farmers and bring it to grocery stores throughout the country, and the stores then distribute the food to the people in that area. While the trucks do their job transporting food, trains and barges do their part too in transporting necessary materials.
Now imagine if there was a fuel shortage. Not all grocery stores would receive the food needed for the people in their town. This would be like an iron-deficient anemia, where RBCs are not able to carry enough oxygen to the rest of the body.
Here’s another analogy: Suppose there was a nationally imposed speed limit of 20 mph, slowing all traffic. Food and nutrients wouldn’t get where needed in time, and the country could not survive. It’s the same with poor circulation, which is caused by lack of exercise, out-of-shape heart and blood vessels, poor lymph movement due to improper breathing, lack of rebounding cellular exercise, cardiovascular disease, or high fat diets that cause sludging of the blood.
If the transportation system slows down or breaks down, the RBCs and WBCs cannot reach all points of the body. The WBCs, our soldiers to fight foreign invaders, would not be able to mobilize quickly enough. Waste products would not be removed quickly enough. Imagine local garbage trucks with a 5-mph speed limit: We would have a lot of putrid garbage building up in our neighborhoods, leading to sickness and disease. If our bodies don’t remove waste products, toxins and chemicals, homeostasis is no longer maintained. As a result, our level of health will progressively drop—from optimal vital health (total health), to apparant health without symptoms (or suboptimal health), to subclinical with symptoms, to clinical findings with symptoms, to disease.
